She is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas and currently is the president for the College of Architecture Alumni Association. She had her post-graduate diploma on construction management and technology from the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies in The Netherlands. She is a fellow of the United Architects of the Philippines and is the immediate past National Executive Vice President. Her field of expertise is on the following Specialized Architectural Services: Project Management; Construction Management; Building Administration and Facilities Management for office buildings, and property appraisal of residential subdivision projects and condominium building projects. 40. 39. AR. ERNESTO ANTONINO D. NASOL, fpia, apec ar. The principal architect and owner of EAD Nasol Architects Interior Designers, Ar. Nasol is an achiever in his own right based on awards and recognition he gained and garnered in the profession. He is also an APEC Registered Architect, Fellow-Philippine Institute of Architects, 2008 Adolfo Benavidez Awardee, former President of the Philippine Institute of Architects, Member of the Professional Regulatory Board of Interior Design, 1987. He is the former 2nd Vice President of the Confederation of Filipino Consulting Organization (COFILCO), an accredited umbrella organization of Filipino consulting firms by the Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB). He is also a former Senior Partner Architect of Archhaus Asia Inc., former Faculty Member of the UST College of Architecture and the Philippine School of Interior Design and is currently a part-time University Professor at Don Bosco Technical School in Mandaluyong City. asean architects Ar. Semaña promoted the profession thru her exemplary works on major residential and institutional projects of the city, establishing a trend towards appreciation of architectural fineness in building homes and structures. Her projects exude quality and excellence regardless of scale. A well-respected leader in the Architectural Professional Organization, Ar. Semaña has steered her colleagues in Cagayan de Oro City in making their Local Chapter among the best achievers of UAP. Her term as Vice President for Area D was marked with strong Mindanao participation in the National Organization. AR. ANGEL L. LAZARO, JR. fuap, apec ar. He is a true builder, both a Civil Engineer and an Architect. He has, for the last 62 years, designed and led the construction of several structures that have served the needs of the society. He has taught in the university, passing on to students both the knowledge of a scholar and the wisdom of a well-seasoned practitioner. He has helped found and for a long time, led the United Architects of the Philippines. In 1938, he organized a team of professionals to form the ALA, Angel Lazaro and Associates. As a young man he exhibited the virtues of discipline, diligence and dedication to his aspirations. He graduated valedictorian of his class in 1934 and he has topped the licensure examinations for both Civil Engineering in 1938 and Architecture in 1962. He has taken this same zeal for excellence to his work as could be evidenced by the numerous awards and recognitions given to him by his peers. And most important of all, he has laid the groundwork for his children to further build upon. 85
