Captains Report Dear Nomads
One could not ask for a better day to have played golf combined with an amazing course . Victoria Country club hollow tined their greens just 4 weeks ago and already in wonderful condition and thankfully the greens were a bit slower than what we have been used to .
We had 7 guests and 3 visiting Nomads ( Budgie Shearer -Easterns , Darrell de Jager and Warren Mitchel both from Gauteng ) join us on the day which increased our numbers nicely .
A big welcome back to Lungisani Majola and Terry young - back after 6 months injury .
Congratulations to the following recipients of a Silver Salver ( 40 Pointer ): Aryn Geekie ( Sept 2020 ), Terry Young ( Sept 2020 ), Richard Barker ( July 2021 ) and Graham Biffen ( July 2021 ).
Good Luck !!! to all the Natal Nomads that are representing our club at our yearly Nationals to be held from the 9 to 16 October 2021 at Champaign Sport Resort . Bring back the Bert Hunt Trophy .
I look forward to seeing you all again on Thursday 21st October 2021 at Cotswold Downs .
