Captains Report
Captains Report – February 2021 Kloof Country Club – 16 February 2021 Dear Nomads
I had the privilege of playing with Kevin Archer Kloof CC Captain , Justin Ackerman and Craig Davidson on a lovely overcast day at kloof for our February 2021 monthly game . Thanks guys it was most enjoyable with much laughter as Craig bantered Kevin and myself around the course . Unfortunately , this banter proved fruitless as Craig and Justin handed over not just the standard Nomads bet but a clean sweep for holding onto the tee boxes , and I will soon be enjoying a bottle of Glenbrynth .
Prize giving was rather interesting due to the fact that we combined January and February Prize Giving into one , coupled with the smaller turnout owing to PG being a voluntary attendance due to social distancing and keeping numbers to a minimum . A number of prizes where therefore not collected and will be on presentation before our next game at Toti . Please come along a little earlier to collect your prizes if you were not in attendance . Thanks again to Steve for lugging all the prizes to the course and again all the uncollected prizes back again .
It was an honour to induct a new Nomad to Natal and would like to once again welcome Mike Olivier to our club and wish him all the fun and camaraderie that promises to last a life time . A 100-game badge was bestowed on myself and cannot believe how the time has flown . I am very proud to be able to say that it took me only 101 months to achieve this and I hope that my subsequent blessing is to achieve my next 100 games in a similar time frame .
