EDITORS NOTE

Time to pack the bags, this will be my third Nationals experience as I look
forward to the gathering of like-minded people, the camaraderie, and for many,
socializing with friends that are only seen at these occasions.
I have always been impressed at how well organized everything is, and when the
gremlins visit, as they inevitably do, the efficiency that the gremlins are dealt
with by the hosting club.
The 2018 Nationals biggest challenge was of a logistical nature, but this should
not be a concern with many staying on the estate, or in close proximity at
different venues.
The 2019 Nationals is being held in Gauteng @ the FIRETHORN Course of
Randpark Ridge, and hosted by GAUTENG NOMADS.
Natal Nomads will be represented by a team of 26 individuals hoping to bring
back the Bert Hunt trophy, I am sure every attempt will be made to bring back
the honors, but I guess the photo’s in next month’s newsletter could probably
reveal that the accreditation will not go to the many awards received for golf,
but, to the continual distraction of general socializing and events, such as the
entertainment at the cowboy bar, well noted BEERFEST and various other
entertainment.
An eternal optimist - I would like to think that the NATAL NOMADS national team
could be posing with the BERT HUNT Trophy in similar fashion to our
brotherhood at the end of the tournament …………….
