entry and payments to Butch asap.
I would also like to thank all those involved with scoring and prize giving at Umkomaas, apart from one or two minor Hiccups it began
before 6 and was done by 6.37 pm. This is something that we as a committee are striving toward. We even managed this without our Steve
‘the prize guy’ McClelland there. Well done Gents and Jayne.
I would also like to report that I had the pleasure of attending the recent Botswana National Tournament in Gaborone. I would like to
congratulate Tim Calvert and his team on an exceptionally well-run tournament. It was my first Bots Nationals but I can assure you it won’t
be my last. My highlight was that 9 of the 12 current Captains were present and the camaraderie was beyond tangible. I left thinking to
myself that with a group of men like this at the helm Nomads is certainly in very good hands and the future looks very rosy!
Our next monthly game will be at Royal Durban Golf Club on the 18th of October 2018, followed shortly by an ever growing contingent of
Natal Nomads heading up to Swaziland from the 19th to the 21st for the Swaziland National Tournament.
Yours in Nomads

Excellent assistance from Umkomaas G.C. staff ensuring a successful Golf Day.
Prizegiving had a good attendance, started punctually and was completed in the shortest time.
CRITICISM:
As mentioned in previous Newsletters, members should remain acutely aware of the dress code as per the constitution and
need to inform their guests of the dress code on the course and for attending prizegiving.
