Attached is the prize sheet for the game at Kloof CC on 19 June.
Congratulations to the Divisional Winners, Fred Stopforth in A-Div with 39 points
Deryck Willans in B-Div with 38 points and Rob Pringle in C-Div with 35 points. The
pin placements (as many Nomads keep telling me!) were tough and many tees well
back, so conditions weren’ t easy. Well done to all the other winners on the day,
including those that progressed through to the next round of the Gary Player
knockout. Sadly my partner Dave Martin and I have gone from hero to zero – from
2017 GP Knockout Champions to losing in the first round in the Cup and in the Plate
too! As I keep saying, nice to give others a chance in the lime-light!
Our Lotto winner for the month was Guido Wiegmink. Thank you to Jane van
Rensberg and Ian Brewer for doing the scoring after the game. Just a note that Ian
has noted an increase again in the number of incorrectly completed score cards being
handed in. Most common is where the gross score and the points don’t match – which
results in time consuming queries and delays in the start of prize-giving. Please can
we all make an effort to get the scorecards neat and accurate?
As a point of interest, I can confirm that where you are drawn with a “Ghost” – 28 is
the set points for the ghost score. Thanks for the query on this Eric Morsner.

beneficiary, Vukukahnye, from Glen Dalton. I have prices confirmed by Mike Jordan
