Sonja Robinson

Sonja Robinson is a self-taught artist who began painting as a means of dealing with her father’s tragic death. Robinson is originally from St. Louis, Missouri where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from Lindenwood University. She currently resides in Savannah, Georga where she has created, taught, and implemented a Budding Artists Program for Ages: 6-8, 9-11 and 12-14 through the Chatham County Public Schools in honor of her father, Carold “Joe Black” Jones, bringing awareness and understanding of how the arts have the power to heal emotional trauma.

In Savannah, Georgia she has exhibited at the Telfair Museum, Savannah State University, and the Savannah Convention Center.
