New Virtual Exhibitions
Presented by the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum
Presented by China Institute
Constructed in 1867, the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum is a National Historic Site of Canada featuring a blend of the old and new, all related to the history of the Mississippi Valley and the textile industry. New virtual exhibitions, created by the Museum in response to the COVID-19 travel restrictions, are now available to all. The exhibitions include video showing the manufacturing processes for making woollen textiles, present the Museum’s historical architecture and artefacts uniquely viewed and captured through the lens of photographer Trevor Johnston, and more!

Virtual Tours
Presented by the Iroquois Museum
The Iroquois Museum in Howes Cave, NY is pleased to present a series of Virtual Tours which offer a glimpse inside our galleries, from the comfort of your home or school. These specially-focused tours are presented by Haudenosaunee narrators and feature art from the Museum collection, pop-out hot spots, video and still images. Each is easy to navigate and an average of 20 minutes in length. Seven tours are now available and one additional tour will be online in early 2022. Tours are free and were created with CARES Act grant support from the Institute for Museum and Library Services.
