Founded in 1984, The Zekelman Holocaust Center (The HC) first opened its doors on the campus of the Jewish Community Center in West Bloomfield as the Holocaust Memorial Center and relocated to the current award-winning Farmington Hills building in 2004. The HC is home to not only our core Holocaust museum exhibit, but an extensive research library, archives, and special exhibit galleries.

The Woodman Museum was founded in 1916 from a trust established by Annie E. Woodman to: “To advance and develop passion for History, Nature, and the Arts. To educate, excite, and inspire current and future generations about . . . a changing nation by preserving and exhibiting objects of historic significance, decorative and fine art, and natural science that connect Dover and its citizens to . . . the world.”

Both the Jones Farm and the Plummer Homestead date back to the late 18th century and are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In addition to our collection of historic buildings and barns, agricultural exhibits, displays, and collections, we are also a working farm, keeping a selection of heritage breed farm animals and a variety of gardens on the property. The Farm Museum hosts special events and programs on weekends throughout the year. We offer guided tours of the farm and the historic Jones farmhouse, exhibits, and displays of rural life and agriculture in New Hampshire. Workshops, school groups visits, home school visits, adult groups, and day camps are offered throughout the year. Our goal is to paint a full picture of New Hampshire's agricultural history in a hands-on setting. Come explore our fifty acre farm soon!
