As a cultural center for the region and the only art museum on the entire Oregon Coast, the Museum is home to six exhibition galleries, totaling over 5,500 square feet of exhibition space. Exhibits at Coos Art Museum change frequently, between 18 and 25 exhibitions annually, and feature contemporary artists and works from its own 603-piece permanent collection of Northwest and contemporary art.
Education programs are offered year round. Topics range from drawing to art history, and also offer opportunities to develop artistic abilities. We offer beginner classes and workshops as well as intensive workshops and lectures for more artistically experienced adult audiences.
