Select recordings from Jefferson County Historical Society's 2021 museum program season are available now on Vimeo. Programming includes all events from JCHS’s 2021 First Friday Speaker Series, The Art of Making, a celebration of makers from throughout Jefferson County and the broader Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. Also featured is a panel discussion from the Jefferson Museum’s 2021 Witnessing Climate Change exhibition. An interdisciplinary exhibition, Witnessing Climate Change featured nearly 50 years of research by ornithologist George Divoky rendered through the expeditionary art of Maria Coryell-Martin with support from educator Katie Morrison. The paintings and stories inspired by Divoky’s research illustrate biological, atmospheric, and personal consequences of a warming Arctic.
