Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum

The Granger Homestead was the home of Gideon Granger, the longest-serving Postmaster General in U.S. History under Presidents Jefferson and Madison. The frame structure of this historic site is composed of two sections: a Federal-style main block with central hall plan constructed in 1815-16; and a rear wing, added in 1860. The principal, west facade, faces North Main Street.
