Founded in 1967, the Hays Arts Center is proud to be Kansas’ first community arts organization. The gallery features many new exhibits throughout the year, including the Five State Photography Exhibition, the Smoky Hill Art Exhibition, and four yearly artwalks during the Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter. The annual gallery walks are free to attend, open to the public, and provide a great way for residents and visitors of all ages and interests to participate and enjoy the arts. The gallery is open six days a week and has a gift shop that features art from local and regional artists.
