The American Heritage Museum is a military history museum chronicling the fight of the American soldier for freedom from the Revolutionary War through modern conflicts and the role that technology played in the battles fought. Told through over 100+ large artifacts throughout the 68,000 square foot museum, the AHM maintains one of the largest collection of operating tanks and military vehicles in the world from many nations including many rare examples such as a German Panther from WWII, a U.S. M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo, an original P-40B Tomahawk fighter that survived the Pearl Harbor attack in 1941, an Iraqi SCUD B Missile and Launcher, an original reconstructed cell from the "Hanoi Hilton" POW camp in Vietnam, and more.

The Nye Museum is a dynamic historical institution in the Town of Sandwich and its campus includes the 1678 Benjamin Nye Homestead, 1889 Grange Hall, and historic 19th century Mill Museum. The museum grounds and trails are open to visitors year round.The museum offers guided tours five days a week from mid-June through mid-October. Programs and special events are scheduled throughout the year and include open houses, field trips, workshops, lectures, specialty themed tours, and retreats.
