The Hancock Historical Museum is preserving the rich history of Hancock County to honor the past and inspire the future. Founded in 1970, the privately-funded museum includes nine buildings at two sites, and programming that reaches nearly 25,000 people annually. Highlights include the Victorian-era Hull House, Marathon Transportation Annex with Findlay-made Grant cars, Agriculture Building showcasing the evolution of farming practices in the region, and expansive exhibit center with rotating exhibits of special interest.

The Dalles Art Center (TDAC) is a connecting hub to inspire and engage with art for The Dalles, Wasco County, and The Columbia Gorge. We produce nine exhibitions a year and support local and regional artists through are exhibition and sales galleries. All of the arts are supported at the center through monthly Writer’s Talks, Live Performances and several public art programs that engage visitors and our community with the history and beauty of our region. TDAC offers workshops and classes in the arts for students and adults throughout the year.
