Established in 1914, the Riley County Historical Society & Museum (RCHSM) collects, preserves, and presents the heritage of Riley County and the State of Kansas, supporting, advocating for and promoting an interest and awareness of our local history and the Riley County Historical Museum for the benefit of all.
In addition to the Museum, the Society manages and operates a number of other historically significant properties and museums throughout the County.

The John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum preserves and promotes the legacy of President Kennedy, his family and their deep connection to Cape Cod, where they enjoyed special days with family and friends.
Seasonal programs include the winter speaker series Coffee @ The Kennedy Museum, as well as weekly Director's Talks with behind the exhibit details, and member gatherings in the Courtyard or in the Scudder Family Center for Civic Engagement.
