The Johnson County Historical Society is a private, non-profit group committed to serving the public by furthering an appreciation of the historical and cultural heritage of the Johnson County community through education, preservation and interpretation. We maintain a museum location with exhibits and a collection of over 10,000 artifacts. The Johnson County Historical Society also maintains 4 historic sites, 3 of which are on the National Register of Historic Places and 1 interpretive site. We provide quality programming for all generations.

Haan Mansion Museum of Indiana Art was originally the State of Connecticut building at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. The mansion was designed and built to be moved after the World's Fair and now houses extraordinary Indiana paintings, including major works by TC Steele; decorative ceramics, bronzes and carvings; and rare American antiques.
