Digital Art Digital Art is an artistic work or practice that uses digital technology as an essential part of the creative process. This includes the use of computers, mobile phones or portable handheld devices in conjunction with a variety of apps. Digital art can take many forms including paintings made entirely of pixels, collage, original photography, animation and video.
For this juried exhibition, 104 artists responded to the international call for entries, representing 5 countries (including 7 states in the USA). A total of 192 digital artworks were submitted for this competition – a collaboration between the National Association of Digital Artists (NaDA) and the Cape Cod Museum of Art. Only 45 artworks were juried into the exhibition. All works are on now view at the Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis Village, and may also be seen in an online gallery at: www.CCMoA.org/pixels
