The 148-acre Los Luceros ranch represents the northernmost outpost of New Mexico Historic Sites, sitting north of Española along the Rio Grande near the village of Alcalde. Beyond its bucolic scenery is the fact that it holds the status of one of the state’s best-preserved and most historically significant properties. With roots in the nearby pueblos that border it, Los Luceros has a history that stretches through colonial New Mexico through the development of Anglo art colonies and even Georgia O’Keeffe.

The Robidoux Row Museum is the active branch of the Saint Joseph Historical Society. Robidoux Row was constructed over a 10-year time frame - from the 1840s to the 1850s. The building was the home of Joseph Robidoux, founder of Saint Joseph in his later years. The museum covers the early history of Saint Joseph through the Victorian Era celebrating Saint Joseph’s status as one of the jumping off points for the Oregon, California, and Santa Fe Trails. The Museum also contains rooms designed to immerse guests into the feel of being in the 1840s and preparing to go west.
