Adam GELL
Hard-working box-to-box midfielder, considered one of the best in the Northern League when he swapped Guisborough’ s King George V ground for the Turnbull in July 2015. Gelly is very comfortable on the ball and acts as the perfect go-between to connect defence with attack.

Mikey ROBERTS
Mikey rose to prominence at Guisborough Town with Premier League Crystal Palace tracking the pacey frontman before he joined Spennymoor Town in August 2014. Mikey topped the Moors’ scoring charts with 20 goals in the Northern Premier League First Division for the beaten play-off semi-finalists. Joined Whitby in the summer of 2015.
David CARSON
Signed January 2017 from South Shields, David is able to play in the centre of midfield and also in defence. The combative footballer joined Blackburn Rovers after a successful trial in the summer of 2014 and captained their U21 side in the Premier League Cup Final. Previous clubs include South Shields & Ashington.
Luke BYTHWAY
A strong centre-forward who can also operate almost anywhere across the pitch. Luke signed from Markse United in August 2016 and is a player Chris Hardy knows well from a long spell at Guisborough Town, where he played at rightback and centre-half for two of his eight years there.
Lee BULLOCK
Experienced midfielder with plenty of Football League experience. Began his career at York City where he scored 24 goals in 171 appearances. Has also played for Cardiff City, Mansfield Town, Hartlepool United and Bradford City. Signed for Whitby in 2013 and is currently the assistant manager and can also drop into central defence if required.
Matthew TYMON
Another former Hartlepool starlet, Matty is now in his third spell with the Blues after a loan period in 2009 from Victoria Park and two spells at Workington and West Auckland. A tall, pacey, skilful striker capable of turning a game.
THE BOSS: Chris Hardy
Known as‘ Chardy’, Chris was appointed in December 2015 as Darren Williams’ successor. He is a big advocate of freeflowing football and encourages his teams to play a sharp passing game, with an eye on fitness. An ambitious manager, Chris had an impressive spell in charge of local rivals Guisborough Town before joining the Seasiders. Along the way, his Guisborough Town side won the 2014 team of the season, as well as the North Riding Senior Cup, beating Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium. Over the years, Chris has gained a reputation for developing young players.
