Best player you ’ ve ever played with ? Dale Stephens who is now at Brighton . How no Premier League team has taken a punt on him I ' ll never know .
Best player you ’ ve ever faced ? More like team ! I played against Southampton when they had Adam Lallana , Alex Oxlade- Chamberlain , Rickie Lambert etc .
Best goal you ’ ve ever scored ? The best goal was in a FA Youth Cup game at St James Park v Newcastle . Thirty yard rocket . My favourite goal was on my debut with my first touch . ( Not sure I ' ve mentioned it before ... haha )..
Best ever footballer ? The Brazilian Ronaldo for me . Had he not had three serious knee injuries , there wouldn ' t even be a debate on the best player of the modern era !
First game you can remember watching ? One of the group games in the 1998 World Cup . As I remember playing with the McDonalds ’ toys in my garden !!
Manager you would most like to play for ? Not really thought about it before . As a player I think you will go to where you ' re wanted . Of the top managers , I think I ' d like to play for Jurgen Klopp as he seems a bit of a character . Much like myself .
How would you describe yourself as a player ? Erm , an industrious forward ..? I believe that if you work hard you will get your rewards . I would like to think I ' m direct with a bit of everything really .
Player you would most like to play alongside and why ? I ' ve always followed Fernando Torres , so probably him .
First football kit you owned ? I think it was an England strip for the Euros in 1996 .
