The construction of the new building emphasises the importance of education to the whole community and provides an incentive for the children to complete their primary education.
Thanks to the improved learning environment, we expect the community to benefit tremendously, as literacy rates will increase and school dropout rates will decrease. Moreover, children of the village will have the opportunity to lead more self-determined lives. The continuation rate to secondary and high school is also expected to further improve.
The sustainability of Nand Ngainge Branched Primary School activities is guaranteed by its close collaboration with the Myanmar government, which will provide the curriculum and materials for teaching and learning as well as the teachers’ training and salaries. The community and school management will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of the school. Child's Dream will carry out regular follow-up visits for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
