CONCLUSIONS

▪ Adding DOF increased weight, fat, and profit under these conditions

▪ Steers and heifers performed as expected

▪ In this experiment, sire breed affected carcass outcome and value

• Increased Angus influence improved marbling and QG

• Increased Limousin influence increased cutability and feed efficiency

• Using genetic complementarity improved results, especially at increased weights
