Hey Juniors !
It ’ s crazy to believe that it is already the end of the year . The past year has been full of family time , friends and cattle shows . The NALJA board had a great board meeting out in North Carolina back in September that was graciously hosted by Edward ’ s Land and Cattle and the Kendall Family . We would like to thank the Edwards for having us out and showing us around their facilities ! The junior board could not do what we do without this kind of support from our breeders . Keep an eye out for updates regarding the exciting new events taking place during the 2025 NJLSC . We have so many things planned ; you won ’ t want to miss it !
As winter rolls in , the days get shorter , and the nights feel endless . It ’ s easy to feel a bit lonely when the world turns cold and quiet , but this season also brings a special chance to connect with those around us . Winter is a time when communities can come alive in surprising ways . Neighbors gather for hangouts , baking , or movie marathons filled with hot chocolate and happiness .
These moments , whether big or small , are what make the chilly winter days feel warmer .
When the frost sets in , remember that a smile or invitation to hang out can brighten someone ’ s day . So , as we embrace the magic of winter , let ’ s fill our days with friendship and fun . Together , we can turn this season into one filled with warmth , laughter , and unforgettable memories !
The fall majors are underway already ! Here soon it will be time for the fifth annual Cattlemen ’ s Congress in Oklahoma City . Be sure to check out the Ken Holloway Genetics on Ice Benefit Auction this year for some awesome items and a great selection of genetics on January 6 in Oklahoma City or via Live Auctions .
While we can easily get wrapped up in our own lives this time of year , remember to spend time with your friends and family and live every day to the fullest !
