Satellite Event Rules
Photo Contest- Submission link coming soon! This contest allows NALJA members to become familiar with the art of photography.
Time: Competitors must submit their entries electronically by June 10, 2025. All contestants must pre-register by May 15 using the online entry system. No late entries will be accepted. Divisions: Novice, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior as described under Individual Sweepstakes Points. Categories: Photo submissions will be divided and judged in two categories: cattle and non-cattle.
Rules: ONE ENTRY PER CONTESTANT Photos may be black and white or color. Entries must be submitted as a high-resolution JPEG or PNG file. The exhibitor’ s name, address, and satellite event age division must be submitted with entry. Photos cannot be altered or digitally enhanced in any way. No text is allowed on the photo. Photos become the property of NALJA and NALF. By entering, participants agree that NALJA and NALF may use the photos in publications and promotions.
Adult Division Rules: Competitors must submit their entries electronically by June 10, 2025. Photos may be black and white or color. Entries must be submitted as a high-resolution JPEG or PNG file. The exhibitor’ s name, address, category and“ adult division” must be submitted with the entry. No text is allowed on the photo. Photos cannot be altered or digitally enhanced in any way. Photos become the property of NALJA and NALF. By entering, participants agree that NALJA and NALF may use the photos in publications and promotions.
All photos will be digitally displayed at the 2025 National Junior Limousin Show & Congress.
NALJA will run a People’ s Choice contest on Facebook during the week of NJLSC; Saturday, June 21- Wednesday, June 25 at noon.
Magazine Advertisement Contest- Submission link coming soon! This contest allows NALJA members the ability to design a magazine advertisement to promote the Limousin breed and Limousin activities.

Rules: Each contestant is to design a magazine advertisement that meets the topic specified for the current year’ s contest. The advertisement can be no larger than 8.5 by 11 inches. Advertisements must be submitted as a PDF. The exhibitor’ s name, address, and satellite event age division must be submitted with the entry. Novice entries must be handmade and not computer-generated. Junior entries may be handmade or computer-generated. Intermediate and senior entries must be computer-generated. Novice and junior handmade advertisements must be scanned or a picture must be submitted of the original advertisement. One entry per contestant.
Topics for the contest: Novice & Junior division: 2026 NJLSC( Rockin’ with the Limi’ s) Intermediate division: Promote any single animal Senior division: Promote any ranch, program, or sale
All magazine advertisements will be digitally displayed at the 2025 National Junior Limousin Show & Congress.

Time: Competitors will submit a 1- 3 minute video over the specific theme( as described below) electronically by June 10, 2025. All contestants must pre-register by May 15 using the online entry system. No late entries will be accepted. Divisions: Novice, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior as described under Individual Sweepstakes Points. Categories: Video submissions will be judged on the chosen theme as described below.
