atching someone you love most going
through a severe health challenge is
something I don’t wish on my worst enemy.
As I sit here writing this article, I’m sitting next to
my Beloved in an emergency room suite, going
through a third stint in the hospital in the past
month. We are dealing with complications from
a surgical procedure that was only supposed
to have her incapacitated for two weeks. Best-
case scenario will probably have her here for
at least the next week, possibly two, until the
issues have been resolved to the satisfaction
of both the patient and doctors who have been
working to resolve this.
What makes things more frustrating is that I,
