EDI W hen I was a little girl, there was a local program that came on television called Cavalcade of Gospel. Isabel Joseph Johnson had an array of gospel talent on every week. My mother loved that show and the name had a lasting impact on me. Now, (mumble, mumble, mumble) years later, I received a call from a director at the Chicago Public Library who eventually inquired about having me host an event during Chicago’s Book Festival Month.
