Shannan Harper: Did you always know you
wanted to write?
Leslie Elle Wright: I always thought I’d
write a soap opera, never a book. In college,
I started a drama centered around my
friends. After I had my daughter, I decided
to transfer that story to the computer. Even
then, I didn’t think I’d write an actual book.
But then ... the idea came to me.
April Lachelle: What inspired you to write
The Edge of Scandal series?
Leslie Elle Wright: Well, The Forbidden
Man was originally entitled The Affair. I
wrote it after a friend asked me what would
happen if a woman was torn between two
brothers. The story formed in my mind then.
But it was very different. I wanted to write
a book where the readers rooted for the
couple in the wrong. Lol
Christine Pauls: Do you write full time? If
not, how do you juggle writing, a career, and
family?
Leslie Elle Wright: I actually have a day job,
three kids, and a hubby. I wish I could write
