EDITORIAL
This summer issue of Naleighna Kai’s
Literary Cafe Magazine is all about
the wonderful time where children are
out of school, teachers have run for
the borders, and parents are pulling
out their hair. Okay, maybe that’s
exaggerating a bit, but there might be
a little truth to what I’m saying.
Many of you are traveling to places
where there are sandy beaches and
lots of fun in the sun. Or maybe, you’re
like me and hanging out in a place
where Mother Nature is throwing a
temper tantrum (Chicago has had
cold weather, rain and all sorts of
unspeakable temperatures for it to be
summer). Either way, having a great
novel in hand can make it an amazing
time.
This issue introduces some new
writers: Anita Roseboro Wade, Victoria
Kennedy-Adams, Christine Pauls,
Bonnie Taylor-Williams, J. D. Mason
who gives us a little of their journey
into writing. Magazine favorites have
