Naleighna Kai's Literary Cafe Magazine NK Literary Cafe Magazine - April 2018 Issue | Page 3
A Note from
the Editor
See, that needed to be on a page all by itself.
This issue covers a range of topics from the current
success of the most popular movie in theatres to
date, to shifting your atmosphere, dealing with
guilt, breaking long-term shackles, and many
other relevant topics. Our featured writers and
members of Naleighna Kai’s Promo Partners,
share their memories of Easter (pressing combs,
Shirley Temple Curls, and Easter Eggs).
When I was a little girl, my mother, aunt, and I
took the Amtrak to Texas to visit relatives. Easter
morning, I was one of five people at Sunrise
Service, and the only child present. The Easter
Egg hunt yielded enough cash to extend the trip
from Texas to California for an entire week. They
put some real money in those eggs back then.” I
truly miss those days (or is that ready-made cash?)
March swings into April which brings Spring and
transformations, leaving the old and embracing
the new. I hope that you find something within
these pages to inspire and uplift you and help on
that part of the journey.
Throughout the magazine, you will see the
writer’s names in both English and Wakandan
lanuage. We thought you’d enjoy us having a
little fun.
Several bio cards are woven throught this issue
so you can get to know some of the authors that
you’ll be seeing a lot of.
Do share the magazine with others as it doesn’t
require a subscription (although it would be nice
since you’ll be the first to receive it in your inbox).
Once again, thank for your support of NKLCM
Magazine.
