playing in his hair the entire time. She loved the way it felt—this taboo thing that they did—but she would never say so out loud. He lowered to her breasts, which were engorged to the point of pain just from inhaling his masculine scent. He kissed them, taking his sweet time as though he had all the time in the world. Gina looked over at the clock on the nightstand and mentally began keeping time. Five minutes. His piercing dark eyes focused on her; his lips lifted in a small smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes. Something about it made her uncomfortable. It was as if her body responded to him of its own accord. Why was he taking so long? Sanjay smoothed a hand over her skin, trailing it from the concavity of her abdomen down to her heated thighs. He kissed her breasts but didn’t draw from them. Instead he stroked the outer areas of her thighs, creating a soothing rhythm that made her breath catch. As though sensing her impatience, Sanjay looked into her eyes and smiled. This time he stroked a tongue across the nipple, which caused her to arch toward him. She wanted him in a way that she shouldn’t. He pressed his erection into her thigh, but nowhere close to her center. Michelle was no dummy, and neither was Gina. Sanjay continued to tease Gina’s body, soothing her breasts with his hands. He watched her through hooded lashes as she began to feel a different type of heat flow through her. He settled his body between her thighs just at the moment she said, “Your time’s almost up. Why don’t you get down to business?” “No, actually …” He pulled away and slipped off the bed. “It is all right. I do not need for you to take care of me tonight. I thank you for what you have done.” He grabbed his robe and strolled toward the door. A swell of disappointment filled her. “Sanjay, you can’t leave me like this.” He tied the sash tight and gave her a shrug that signaled his indifference. “Leave you like what, Gina? This is only a business arrangement. You have said that many times. And tonight that business is now concluded.”
