and action in her story leap off the page and grab readers’ attention from the first

Lucy and Marlowe Price are complete opposites — with one very terrifying thing
in common. They mistakenly made the decision to marry the same wrong man: a
cold-blooded killer who will terminate anyone in his path, including those close to

who now want him dead. As the story unfolds, the women want their husband
found for different reasons: Lucy so she can live her life without the threat of
him killing her, and Marlowe so she can live out the rest of her life outside of
prison. Both women find assistance from two men who are drawn into their lives
for different reasons, and those reluctant romances are intricately woven into the
mystery.
