Harper’s Court Pastor Margie of New Day Temple of Faith is used to running the church all by herself. But like most single Christian Women, others in the church are pestering her to find a husband. Pastor Margie receives a phone call and she is wanted to be on a reality dating show. After praying and talking to her best Friend, Mother Doreen Frye, she accepts, much to the dismay of her parishioners. They wanted her to find someone, but not quite like that. Pastor Margie and Mother Doreen are flown to the house where Pastor will meet each of the twelve men, and like the reality shows on television, everything except bathroom visits is filmed. As Pastor Margie learns about the men that are somehow supposed to be right for her, eventually it comes out her true reason for being there. As always with this author’s writing, I enjoyed the story and especially how it showed that even pastors are human and have human needs, desires, and insecurities. The story strayed from E. N. Joy’s previous work, but it was a pleasant change and aspectacular farewell to a great series.
