NAILBA CHARITABLE FOUNDATION
In this year , of all years , with all the challenges you may have faced , both personal and professional , you stepped up .
We are all professionals , trying to run our businesses through a pandemic , and we are all volunteers for this organization . So many of you understood this was the perfect time to help the NAILBA Foundation . With our volunteer time , we raised hundreds of thousands of dollars and gave it away to 33 nonprofits in our neighborhoods .
Let ’ s take a look at who and what :
Robin Landers , CLU , owns Landers-Stein , originally founded in 1959 by Bernie Landers and Marty Stein . A Chartered Life Underwriter , she has served as president of the Miami SFSP ( CLU ) and NAIFA-Miami and is currently President of the NAILBA Charitable Foundation . Robin can be reached at Robin @ Landers-Stein . com .
Dave Barrist from Barrist Insurance Group celebrated his birthday by raising money for NAILBA Foundation on Facebook . Dawn Nelson from MVP Financial used her time to sponsor a grant for The Madison Reading Project . The project received thousands of dollars to give books to kids who wouldn ’ t have them without our help . Kem Snavely from Quest sponsored a grant for the Rose Brooks Center , which received thousands of dollars to help children and families overcome trauma from all types of abuse . The Marketing Alliance raised more than $ 30,000 to help fund these types of needs in our communities .
I am heartened and humbled by the outpouring of caring and concern — and money — from you .
Keep up the good work and stay safe out there . – rsl
