NAHA Newsletter May 2020

A PUBLICATION OF THE NEW ALBANY HOUSING AUTHORITY Published and edited by Shanika Woodson May 2020 I hope all of you out there are healthy and adapting to our current situation. Nothing is more important than the safety and wellbeing of our family, friends, and ourselves. We have had to make many changes in our daily routine and our lives as a whole. I want to make sure that you know that we here at NAHA are still here to help. While we have needed to make changes in how we provide our services, we are still committed to you, our residents, and your needs. We are all in this together. As you are probably aware, the offices are closed to visitation, but we are available by phone and prefera- bly email. Email is an incredibly efficient way to make sure we do not miss any communication. I am espe- cially concerned about your rent rate if your employment status has changed. Please make sure to inform us so we can make adjustments and keep the burden on you and your family from escalating. Maintenance is always here to serve you, but in order to protect our staff and residents, we are following the emergency overtime policy to reduce the interaction as much as possible. Please refer to your lease for those guidelines. Please be patient Community News with your family, friends, neighbors, and especially yourself. Sincerely, David Duggins 2 Community continued 3 Just for YOU 4 BAN List 5 Calendar 6 Food Resources 7
