Meet NAHRO ’ s National ‘ What Home Means to Me ’ poster contest winner Tayshayna Keiler . Tay is a talented 18 year old whose art was chosen from hundreds of entries to represent NAHA in a calendar that will be used all over the U . S . Tay has many interests . She is a student at New Albany High School and attends Prosser Career Education Center for Culinary Arts . She is planning on attending college and has dreams of maybe starting her own bakery or even a food truck . Her options are limitless , and NAHA is very proud and thankful to have her participate in FSS events and activities .
Miss Anna Bell is living proof that ... fairy tales can come true , it can happen to you if you ’ re young at heart . Anna began working in the FSS office in 2018 . This was Anna ’ s first time working in an office . She had to learn how to navigate email , the internet , a copier , faxing , filing and much more . She took each day in stride and kept learning . Anna decided to fulfill a goal she set aside years ago . She decided that she was going to get her high school equivalency diploma . Anna had to learn how to use a calculator , she studied algebra , science and took homework home even studying during the pandemic . All this perseverance has paid off ! September 2021 Anna passed her HSE exam . Anna is full of optimism , energy and enthusiasm . When you visit the FSS office , be sure to say hi .
Raysean Huckleberry is a 7th grader at Scribner Middle School . His mom participates in the FSS program . Raysean is a drummer in the school band . He is very talented and recently performed in a school recital . Raysean is a straight A student with good attendance . He is a very positive , bright , and an outgoing young man . He has found his passion in music and we applaud his success !
