HOW TO BECOME A NATIONAL AMATEUR FALL BASEBALL FEDERATION AFFILIATE 1 . Applicant requests an NAFBF Affiliate Application from NAFBF Home Office . ( pres @ nafbf . net )
2 . Applicant completes application and returns it to NAFBF Home Office with a one-time nonrefundable application fee of one hundred and seventy-five dollars ($ 175 ).
3 . Once approved , Applicant will be notified by NAFBF Home Office and Applicant may secure his / her desired counties , ( Between 1 and 4 for first time applicants . All must have common borders ). Applicant must show permanent residence in one of the selected counties . After Affiliate has demonstrated the ability to manage up to a four-county footprint ( 1-3 years ), he / she may apply for additional counties *.
4 . NAFBF will review counties selected . Once approved , Applicant will pay according to the following chart :
First County - $ 200.00 Total : $ 200.00
Second County - $ 150.00
Total : $ 350.00
THESE FEES ARE ANNUAL
RENEWABLE FEES
Third County - $ 150.00 Total : $ 500.00 Fourth County - $ 150.00 Total : $ 650.00
• When the Affiliate Owner has demonstrated a successful management history of overseeing up to four counties , an application may be requested by them , of the home office to add additional counties . All counties must have a common border . The Annual Fee per county will be assessed by the NAFBF Board of Directors .
5 . Applicant must read and sign a contractual agreement outlining the rules and regulations and insurance allocations . ( Affiliate Agreement )
6 . Applicant must read and sign a contractual agreement pertaining to marketing . The Home Office standardizes marketing across the country . Marketing is localized by placing Affiliate information on a standardized marketing campaign . Participation in the centralized marketing campaign costs the Affiliate $ 30 per month . An Affiliate can utilize pre-approved marketing campaigns , at no charge for local marketing , and bear the cost of using those campaigns in different media sources at their own expense .
7 . An Affiliate Owner and all personnel of that Affiliate ( Player , Independent Contractor , payroll employee or volunteer ) must purchase an NAFBF Annual Membership . This equates to their insurance .
EXAMPLE : The Affiliate in Northeastern Ohio is holding a physical evaluation day . He / She agrees to allow three food trucks to be on site that day . The Food Truck Owner must provide evidence of insurance to participate . Each person working or volunteering for the event , for the Affiliate Owner , must purchase a NAFBF Membership .
8 . First year Affiliate Owners must agree to attend virtual classes ( 16 hours cumulative ) during their first year of Affiliate Ownership . These classes familiarize the new Affiliate in NAFBF methodology .
