NAED Newsbriefs News from Around the Industry Register Now for UID Registration is open for the University of Industrial Distribution (UID) scheduled for March 9-12, 2014 at the JW Marriott Indianapolis. The UID is a concentrated educational program focused on the unique needs of the industrial wholesale distribution industry. Submit your entry at www.unleashwdinnovationaward.com The Spirit of Innovation Award In the Fall 2013 issue of The Current, there was an error in the “2013 PAR Highlights Shows Increase in Distributor Profit Margins.” It mistakenly stated, “the typical distributor surveyed, based on median figures, had annual sales of $70.7 billion.” It should have been $70.7 million.
