My motto in life is do it with passion or not at all . It is what guides and drives me , whether it is for the people in my life , my hobbies or my business , and I don ’ t do anything halfheartedly .
Over the past several years , there are many things I ’ ve learned , about life and about being a wedding planner , and which I try to pass on to those I have the opportunity and privilege to mentor :
1 . Be kind . In life , what goes around , comes around , just like a Carousel ( wink wink – now
you know where the name comes from ).
2 . Whatever you do , do it with purpose and with passion , or not at all .
3 . You build a legacy and a reputation one day at a time and one encounter at a time . Every intersection of your life is a crossroad to either enhance your reputation , or damage it , choose your path wisely .
4 . It ’ s about the journey , and not just the destination . When we work on an event or a wedding , we always focus on making the journey to the big day pleasant , exciting , and fun for our clients , and also for our team and our partners .
5 . Life is a team sport . Collaboration and teamwork are truly vital to success . No project can succeed without effective collaboration , and genuine team-work .
6 . The leader should always be in the eye
