Lobster Risotto
Mercy , Alexandre ’ s wife shares her thoughts about Dubai .
I moved to Dubai 14 years ago and I love this city as it is where I met the love of my life , Alexandre . We have been married for 7 beautiful years and have amazing triplets , 2 boys and 1 girl . Being a triplet mum in Dubai and a career woman is amazing and I can confidently say being a mum makes me a better employee and working full time makes me a better mum . We both have learned to complement each other in our areas of work and as parents through communication and being organized .
I was born and raised in Nairobi , Kenya . Growing up in a big family with lots of older brothers and sisters meant I learnt at an early age how to be responsible and a go-getter as it was instilled early on by our loving parents .

I remember I loved playing with my friends a lot after school and mostly when school close playing field will be full of different games with different age groups , my favourite was jump ropes , Hula hoops rounders and Kati ( Swahili word for the game which involves minimum 3 persons two would throw a ball back and forth to try hit the one at the centre as she ducks out different styles for the ball not to her coz I ' d it does it meant her game was over ). These games were fun and looking back , they kept us fit .
Our parents took us to church every Sunday for Sunday School and afterwards , we would go to Uhuru Park and enjoy games and street food . My favourite was French fries , Kenyan sausages and ice lollies .
Growing up in Kenya was great , but I love living in Dubai .
