I was born in Barcelona 39 years ago and I live in a small town on the outskirts of this beautiful city . I visit it less and less because I prefer to spend more time in nature doing outdoor activities . I really like cinema , theater , music and museums . I enjoy the simple things in life like a walk or a good deep conversation accompanied by a large cup of hot chocolate in hand .
Talent for art
From a very young age , I was very good at the arts . I always stood out in primary and high school and whatever I did , I caught the attention of my classmates and teachers . My profession is management which obviously has nothing to do with art and I have never attended an art school . I am completely selftaught .
Bibiana ’ s medium and a description of her art
The artistic medium that I enjoy the most is with acrylic paint , but in some drawings I really like to mix colored waxes with acrylic . I like the combination of both textures .
My art is completely abstract , since I like to create from scratch any idea or image that comes to mind , even if it doesn ’ t make sense to other people , it always has a meaning . I really
like colours and use it in strong tones so that the result is visually impressive .

I don ’ t have divine inspiration to paint . Rather I feel a vital need . Curiously , I had never painted since high school but as a result of a period of anxiety and depression I suffered a few months ago due to the demands of my work , my doctor recommended that I do some activity that frees the mind . So , I had no doubt that the only thing that could help me would be painting as I always liked it . When you start to develop an idea , your mind calms down and focuses on executing it . And when I put color on it , the endorphins shoot up , since I really enjoy watching it take shape and sometimes I end up doing something completely different from the initial idea because I let my mind do what it wants .
