The BARA Caribbean experience . Here ’ s what foodies can expect . We are located in the food court area of International Village Mall in downtown Vancouver . It ’ s not a traditional dine-in restaurant , so our focus will be on takeout , delivery , and catering , though we will occasionally hold special pop-up events that will offer a dine-in experience .
For foodies , we ’ ll have some familiar Caribbean dishes ( like jerk chicken , and rotis ) but we ’ ll also be introducing some dishes they may not have had before - unless they ’ ve travelled to the Caribbean , or have familiarity with Caribbean culture . We ’ re essentially bringing Caribbean street food to the streets of Vancouver . We ’ ll also be coming up with some unique creations that aren ’ t “ traditional ” Caribbean dishes , but will be our unique spin on Caribbean food that we create and serve in a different way than people may have had in the past . Some items will be part of our regular menu , but a lot of items will be specials that are served on a limited basis . That will allow us to rotate and try out a lot of different dishes for people to experience .
