Even though Anguilla is tiny , I am never bored .
Anguilla has 33 enviable beaches with miles of white , powdery sand and seas of iridescent shades of blue . Not surprisingly , going to the beach is one of my favourite activities . I love Crocus Bay as it holds so many great memories from my childhood but is also relaxing , rustic and
romantic . I still appreciate the
St . Paul ’ s Church gorgeousness of Shoal Bay
East ranked one of the best beaches in the Caribbean . The endless stretch of glistening sand on Rendezvous Bay with the mountains of St . Maarten in the background capture my heart every time I visit . Even during high season our beaches are never crowded . On multiple occasions , I have had entire beaches to myself which is dreamy and magical .
If you love the ocean like I do , then you must charter a boat and enjoy a sunset cruise or spend a day at one of our cays - Sandy Island , Prickly Pear or Scilly Cay . Yes , escaping from a tiny island to more scenic , tinier island is a thing !
Food is life in Anguilla . Whether eating BBQ from a grill on the side of the street , limin at a popular beach bar or restaurant ( my choices : Ocean Echo , Madeariman or Leon ’ s at Malliouhana ) or being seated for fine dining , you can be certain
