Jayleen Mc Carty

From singing in a choir at the age of 8 , then later evolving into a solo artist , Jayleen continues to thrill her audience .
In 2017 , after a few singles as a solo artist and being featured in the projects of local artists , she embarked on her first adventure under the stage name of V ’ Nuss with a 5-track EP which she says , “ reflects the influences of reggae , hip hop and her love for pop rock and rock culture .”
Following this project , Jayleen released her first debut album “ So Far From The Mirror ” in November 2018 ( still under the stage name V ’ Nuss ) a Folk Rock album influenced by countrypop and blues but also highly inspired by rock bands of the 70s . A collaborative project with French band Coloma and the K ., her warm , soulful voice was the perfect blend for the project .
After being well received by the public , then spending an entire year promoting on stages , once again Jayden felt the desire to do more and explore other horizons . This time , her project was accompanied by a change of artistic direction and scenic identity , moving towards a new music genre : Rock Soul / Urban Funk ( a spicy blend of sounds influenced by the Motown Era ) under the name of JAYLEEN Mc CARTY . This new adventure was born with a first single “ My Pride ” released in June 2020 followed by the release of the first single of the EP “ Juste un peu perdu ” released on all streaming platforms on October 2020 .
The EP , “ Mind Body & Soul ” was released in March 2021 under Canadian indie label signature Les Productions Gébé , introduced by the music video of the song Rain ( available on YouTube ).
Due to the pandemic , Jayleen Mc Carty and the band was not on stage for a while , but they returned in September 2021 with a new music video “ With You ” and new stage appearances .
