Handelskade , the picturesque stretch of pier on the Punda side of Willemstad is by far one of the most photographed landscapes in Curaçao . Here , colonial buildings , painted bright yellow , pink and blue are home to outdoor cafes where you can sip on a daiquiri whilst watching the Queen Emma bridge open to allow ships into the harbour . Offering a stunning sight during the day , reflections of the illuminated façades in the bay at night also make for great photos .
