Hato Caves

These caves were formed under the sea and became accessible by land after the sea level dropped. Beautiful stalactite and stalagmite formations, pools and a waterfall are now visible. Located on the north side of the island, it was once a place of shelter for escaped slaves. Indigenous people also made use of the caves as indicated by the petroglyphs they left behind.
