Barbuda’s Caves
Barbuda features many caves. Among the more popular are the ones at Two Foot Bay which is
home to bats, crabs, tropical birds and huge iguanas. Darby Dave, a sink hole 300 feet across
and 70 feet deep, is also well-known. Another, the Dark Cave, was once the main water source
for Amerindian inhabitants, but is better known today as the home for the rare species of
amphipod, the blind shrimp.
