Shrubb
Shrubb, a rum infused with marinated orange or tangerine rind
is Martinique’s Christmas cocktail. You’ll easily find it in the shops
throughout the year, but as part of the festive season, many people
concoct their own homemade versions, which are just as good.
Planteur, which is fruit juice mixed with rum is a favourite, but the
drink of choice for many is the Ti-Punch. It is straight rum, sweetened
with cane sugar and served on ice, with a twist of lemon.
