A must-see on Terre-de-Haut is Fort Napoleon, which overlooks the bay of Les Saintes. Built in the 1700’s and standing 114 meters above sea level, it is an easy 15 minute walk from the dock. It houses a cactus conservatory, garden, lookout towers, art depictions of the islands’ battles and other pieces of interesting history.
