The Cayman Islands' East End
The eastern end of Grand Cayman is far
more relaxed and slower paced than
the sometimes hectic George Town with
its visiting cruise ships. On this side of
the island visitors can still find excellent
snorkeling and diving sites, but they will
also find secluded beaches and have the
opportunity to sample some authentic
island food.

Rum Point Beach
For real relaxation, Rum Point, located 15
minutes from the island’s East End and
45 minutes north of George Town on
the island’s most northern tip, is ideal.
This is a peaceful cove, fringed with
palms, where you can relax in one of the
many hammocks and watch as the more
energetic make use of the volleyball nets.
